This is our go-to place for Chinese food Buffet in the north metro. Every Tuesday during college in Roseville, we would go here for lunch. After a few months, the trips increased in frequency, and every day we wanted to eat here became known as “Tuesday.” (It was often “Tuesday” at least 3 times a week!) I recently had the opportunity to return with a friend to share some nostalgia, and was not disappointed! The food is all good, if not the absolute best, but certainly great for a buffet. However, the homemade cream cheese wontons are to die for. Come later in the afternoon, and you can see a group rolling and folding them by hand. They are nothing short of outstanding! If you’re in Roseville and have a hankering for Chinese around the lunch hour, give this place a try!
Everything was so good and the service was great. Loved the eggs foo young, generals chicken and the beef with mixed vegetables was so much better than expected. This was our first visit as we live an hour north but will come back if in the area.
I was not expecting food this good from a little buffet like this. Everything I had was good and I tried just about everything. Best beef of broccoli I’ve ever had. I’ve been there 2 times and food was great both times
Stopped here on way back to hotel. Trying to beat a major storm home. Beef chow fun is a very good choice, lots of wok hei and generous serving
I love the service and the food. We recently discovered this place and their food is always great! I'm looking forward to trying more dishes as I like to just stick to one dish.
We moved here a few years ago and have been struggling to find a good spot for Chinese takeout. We seriously tried probably five or six places in the northeast suburbs before finally ordering from here. We aren't picky people or looking for authentic eats, but sometimes want some Americanized comfort food (general tsao's chicken, lo mein, cream cheese wontons, beef with broccoli). I could not believe how hard it is to find decent Chinese in the area. After time after time of soggy chicken, skimpy beef dishes, runny flavorless sauces, we didn't have the highest hopes, but we were pleasantly surprised to find this place! We have ordered from them a handful of times now and they are consistently good and fresh. We have ordered several beef, chicken, shrimp and noodle dishes and have never received something we didn't enjoy. Sidenote-- they have the best fortune cookie messages we have come across.
This review focuses on the food, as we had it delivered. Our order was well-packaged, and none of the containers were leaking. The portion sizes for all the meals were very generous. We started with cream cheese wontons, and they did not disappoint; they were delicious and filled with a rich, creamy filling. The hot and sour soup was also good; we ordered it spicy, and it was prepared perfectly. The soup was rich and had excellent flavor. The General Tso's chicken was delightful, featuring the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, and the sauce was not watery. The chow mein was fantastic as well; all the seasonings and spices really elevated the experience.
First time visiting for dinner in between dance classes and the food and prices blew my mind! We ordered the steamed dumplings, beef chow fun, salt and pepper squid, and the honey walnut shrimp. The portions were generous! The flavors were delicious! So glad I found this gem and I will be back to visit many more times. Service was also great and incredibly friendly.
